[mythtv-users] Looking for a New remote

mythbubuntu maveric
the problem isn't in bluez ( I can't install the maveric version:
W: Failed to fetch

404  Not Found

so i just use the jaunty version)
anyway when I modprobe uinput and even add it to /etc/modules and reboot it
still doesn't appear in lsmod | grep uinput
I can get the events to register in irw but what do I have to do to get them
to make mythtv actually do stuff?
