[mythtv-users] HVR4000 woes

Thanks for the info

I have newer drivers than that for the HVR4000. And newer firmware too. And
I don't know offhand what kernel version I am running on the 9.10 box.
I will check all those things later on.

I just want a setup which will be "non-techie" friendly so I can let the
kids loose on it, for FTA TV viewing and am not quite at that level yet with
myth frontend.
I have setup XBMC as a media library frontend and that is extremely
"non-techie" friendly. And the myth backend never ever falls over. Between
bursts of experiments I've had it running for months with no issues.

So if I could crack the DVB-T to DVB-S zap issue I'd be all set.
