[mythtv-users] avernard package and Nouvea driver

Just a heads up - the latest kernel has the nouveau driver built into it and 
automatically activated which stops the nvidia binary drivers loading.

The ubuntu nvidia packages automatically blacklist the nouveau driver but 
JYA's (avernard) repos don't yet, so an upgrade will render the X server non 
functional :(

The fix - either disable JYA's repos and reinstall nvidia from the mythbuntu 
repos or blacklist the nouveau driver yourself.

create a file:
  /etc/modprobe.d/nouveau_blacklist.conf

containing the line:
   blacklist nouveau

And reboot. I actually had to physically switch my server off before the 
drivers would successfully reinitialise.
