With Harmony remotes, you can redefine the sequence of commands that
turn devices on and off. The off sequence is then used whenever you
do "All off" or any activity that doesn't need MythTv. Just add "Exit"
as the first command in the "off" sequence. In my case, I had to use
just "exit" and no other commands, because once my MythTv box is
turned off it can't be powered back on from the remote.

I also have "switch to the input for MythTV" as the "off" sequence for
my AV Receiver. That ensures my system, when switched on from the
plug, always comes up with the AV receiver on and pointing at the
Myth box, because that's necessary for my Myth box to boot correctly.

Harmony remotes are just wonderous pieces of kit.

Paul.
