The lesson is, use copper (or glass I guess).

Also, remember that PS3s use Bluetooth for the controller, and BT runs at 2.4 Ghz., as do a lot of cordless phones, 
microwave ovens and other assorted devices as well as B/G and most N WiFi systems.

The data rates advertised for WiFi systems are a total joke, I'm surprised nobody has launched a lawsuit, similar to the 
hard drive capacity cases.
