You had better be quick, the Sinterklaas Club starts on Monday (On RTL4)
:-).

I use two Skystar2 cards both DVB-S, one pointed at 28.5 for and one at
19.2 for NL. Most cards dont have CI slots or CAMS, and all of the Dutch
channels are encoded apart from BVN. There are "soft" alternatives to
the Hardware CAM, but I will not discuss them here.

To get the equivalent of the UK Freesat bouquet [called the "set top
box" subscription] you will need to get , a satellite card with a CI
interface ( for the CAM) a SECA cam, and an official subscription card
from Canal +. The subscription will cost you about 70 euros a year :-(
It used to be free.

You can still get a "free" card but then there is a one of charge and
you only get NL1,NL2 and NL3. This is similar to the old setup with SKY
and BBC. Although they are free, you need a decoder and a card to
actually watch them (free to view rather than free to air)

good luck,

John
