Hmm freebsd. Any kind of major hoops that you had to jump through to get the backend working and do you know of a good guide as it would be my first foray into bsd land?
I'm getting ready to use either opensolaris/nexenta or freebsd with this board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135247 to be able to run zfs for all my storage needs. I'm tired of waiting for btrfs file system's raid support that still has a year of development before it's ready. This would just be icing on the cake if it can function as my backend as well.
