Yes, XBMC has taken on a similar naming scheme to Ubuntu, so there can
be some confusion about that. There is a XBMC 9.04 release
(independent of Ubuntu), which is available on Windows, Mac, Linux,
and Xbox.

I have had T3CH recommended to me from many sources and it is
recommended by the XBMC devs
