display the Qt window ; the crash seems to occur in the library Qt, though to be honnest I can't tell for sure. But it's definitely not in the mythtv code... The bizarre thing is that if I compile and install directly then it doesn't crash. If I compile and install via a package ;then it crashes. Jean-Yves
