on the frontend machines that it is on the back-end where your scanning
is done.  To avoid screwing up home directories and whatnot, I moved the
stuff I wanted shared over NFS to /opt/myth (/opt/myth/videos,
/opt/myth/recordings, etc), and then I mount it at /opt/myth on each of
the frontends as well.  The video path gets set to /opt/myth/videos/
everywhere, and that just works (and doesn't have that "video root"
thing at the top, or videos under it, it would have "Cartoons" and
"Television" as the two top level choices).
