True. I do that in my home theater room. Unfortunately, other side of
the wall in this case is the two story foyer. Don't think it would help
the waf to have a pc attached to the wall at the top of the foyer. ;-)

I'm looking at some of the other options suggested. 

1) network boot
2) cf to ide
3) 2.5 to 3.5 ide
