I have exactly the same issue. Set-top box reports correct program
descriptions, but a bunch of the ones in Myth are wildly inaccurate. I
had assumed this was a known bug, but a search
(http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/search?q=eit+wrong+description&noquickjump=1&ticket=on&changeset=on&wiki=on)
didn't turn one up.
