That's encouraging news - I don't use Skype on the mythtv FE/BE, so  
that won't be a problem

I like the idea of then LiveCD - hadn't thought of that, so let's  
download and see!!

Thanks for the comments - I was beginning to despair of any useful  
input with the 'define 64-bit debate' that hit the thread :)
