I have not had the problem, but I don't use VDPAU.

This is a VDPAU/H.264 problem.  If your machine is powerful enough to
use the standard ffmpeg decoder, then timestretch works fine.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
