[mythtv-users] Webcam Issue (no device found) on Mythbuntu 8.10

This could well be an issue not explicitly to do with mythtv - but I
hope you guys will indulge me.  Honestly, I've googled, but I can't
seem to find a post that I quite recognize as my issue (although I'm
sure the data is out there somewhere).

I've wanted to use my myth setup and hdtv to start doing my video
skyping.  I picked up a Logitech QuickCam Communicator Deluxe/S7500
which, according to http://linux-uvc.berlios.de/ would be a standard
UVC camera.  And with 8.10, the kernel (2.6.27-14) should have v4l2
built-in, yes?
