The preferred method is to do a database backup (
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Database_Backup_and_Restore ), then restore
the database on the new host, which will handle both 1 and 2. The best
way to accomplish 3 is to ensure you use the same hostname for the new
host as you used for the old host.
