These two pages should be merged.
I'm looking 3 Hauppauge cards
HVR-2250
HVR-1800
HVR-1600
The HVR-1600 is the only one supported in the current release.
Is recording audio from the FM input supported?
Will the HVR-1800 support any PCI Express (PCIe) x1 features?
Or, will it just be a subset of the HVR-1600 features for a while?
Looks like the HVR-2250 is very similar to two HVR-1800 combined.
The pair of HVR-1800s have two FM receivers,
while the HR-2250 has only one.
Any guesstimates on how long until HVR-1800 and HVR-2250
are supported. I'll probably just get a pair of HVR-1600 in the
meanwhile.
Going off on a tangent.
I don't have any QAM signals for the receivers,
but thinking about them led me to wondering
if there is a way I can create an unencrypted
QAM signal for distribution (over coax)
to my remote TVs.
