[mythtv-users] Issues with mythfrontend

Thanks for that.

I'm using a default Mythbuntu install, so assumed it would all just be ok,
with sane defaults.

There's no ~/.mythtv/themes directory, but there is a ~/.mythtv/themescache.
I tried changing the permissions of everything in ~/.mythtv to 777 (from
755), in some stretched hope that it might work.

All files in ~/.mythtv/ are owned by my user, 'chris'. I'm not sure where
the frontend is called, will look into it (I'm an Arch user, not
Debian-based stuff).

As I say though, it works when connected to a monitor, but not TV. This is
without changing anything in xorg.conf, in fact, this is with nothing in
xorg.conf.

I don't understand what is going wrong, and can't find anywhere else record
of others having a similar issue.

Thanks,
Chris
