[mythtv-users] MythDora 10 fresh install - frontend segfault

I just installed MythDora as a clean install today (long story on why, but
it started from blank hard drives... no importing of old data). As of right
now, I have two problems:

There's no sound on live TV or recordings. If I 'cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg'
and play that MPEG file in xine, it comes through with sound no problem. If
I go to "Watch TV" and hit the "record" button I can play the file from
/storage/recordings and it has sound, but if I try to play it in Myth, I get
no sound. I had something similar to this after a reboot when I had CentOS
on this box. It seemed that a couple attempts at jumping between watching
Live TV and a recording always brought the sound back. That brings me to
problem number 2.

Every time I exit Live TV or a recording, I just get dumped back to the main
GNOME Desktop rather than the Myth interface. A quick grep of the system log
reveals the following:

It always seems to be a different library that's listed at the end, so I'm
really not sure where to go from here. I've checked 'yum update' and it says
my system is up to date.

A little about my system:
AMD Athlon X64 3500+ (running 32-bit MythDora)
NVIDIA 6800 GS
PVR 350
HVR 1250
