i already had the box locked at 720p. after the last post i downloaded the
latest firmware, and installed it. that made no difference, and then i
recompiled and patched, the mpegrecorder patch did not patch cleanly so i
had to patch that file manually. now everything is seeming to work
flawlessly.
although some people say not to touch the cvs version unless your a dev, but
i needed it to get the hdpvr support. of course you are going to hit some
bumps accross the way. but i like the feeling of getting things to work
correctly and i'm not new to linux, so i felt i was up to it. when it was
all said and done, i'm finally happy that it is working correctly.
