[mythtv-users] Difference between Mythwelcome and backend shutdown/wakeup settings ?

I used mythfrontend without mythshutdown (with a script) fot many month
Then I spend many hours configuring mythshutdown, and I don't see any
I don't use the daily wakeup, so I don't need mythshutdown.
