I have a Silverstone LC-14 and I love it, as a frontend/backend box. I
tried using a Silverstone LC-13 case (which is almost the same size
as the LC-14) for use as a pure frontend, and wasn't happy with the
result (too big a box for the bedroom dresser I wanted to use on). If
you can deal with the case size, I would recommend the LC-14, it is a
nice case.

I put my $0.02 regarding the LC-14 front case buttons on the MythTV wiki:

With the LC-14, you want to put the following in the .xmodmaprc file
(the front buttons act as far as the system is concerned like an extra
USB keyboard):

! Keymap for Silverstone LC-14 case
 ! Skip Back
 keycode 144 = Left
 ! Skip Forward
 keycode 153 = Right
 ! Stop
 keycode 164 = Escape
 ! PlayPause
 keycode 162 = P
 ! VolUp
 keycode 176 = bracketright
 ! VolDn
 keycode 174 = bracketleft
 ! Mute
 keycode 160 = bar
