wow, jump down my throat. I didn't mean to offend you, I was just stating
the differences in what I was seeing and what I read on the wiki. Maybe I
should have used my backspace key instead of correcting myself inline. I
realize they are not the same problem (as I'm not using xvmc), but just
similar symptoms. Again, I was just reporting what I was seeing in case
anyone out there was also having this problem, because I couldn't find any
info on it anywhere except that one statement, which as we have determined
is not the same exact problem.

Although I'm not sure if its exactly the same problem either. He can't get
xv-blit to work, but i'm only seeing the problem with gl.
