Certainly not cheap, but very small and some made specifically to mount
behind your LCD.

I'm planning on using one of their cases and mounting brackets but with a
Zotac motherboard with a VDPAU compatible GPU on it:

Brad, just curious, will that motherboard have optical or coax audio out?
What is the point of digital video out if you don't get digital audio out?
It has been my experience that every motherboard with analog audio built in
does not have clear crisp sound. When the hard drive is crunching and
whatnot, that gets passed to the sound output (unless it's digital out).
