Somewhat off topic, but I wound up having to revert back to the 177.80
driver anyways (using the same smart remove (all nvidia stuff), smart
install nvidia-graphics.177.80.  The newer driver did not play nice
with my system and watching HD content was not possible (high
stutters).  I have seen others say that some drivers will work
perfectly and newer ones won't, so I guess it is just a matter of
trying the new ones and hoping for the best.
