[mythtv-users] Is it possible to use EIT and xmltv for different channels on the same encoder ?

Yes that's what I do for the Freeview radio stations and it works well.

Perhaps.  I'm not sure what you mean by

You have to enable EIT in the backend (not exactly sure where).
Passive EIT scanning is sufficient for me.

I don't think both EIT and xmltv are supported on the same channel,
though they are supported for different channels on the same source.
You could try removing the xmltvid on one channel, just to see if
that's causing a problem.
