[mythtv-users] Realtime priority

Hi everybody,
I'm currently trying to set up realtime for mythfrontend.
THis is my limits.conf:
# Mythtv realtime priority
*               -       rtprio     0
*               -       nice       0
@video          -      rtprio     50
@video          -      nice       0

But the mythfrontend process does not show up as realtime in top:
3734 frontend  20   0  760m 163m  62m S    7 16.5   1:42.88 mythfrontend.re

and in the log it says:
2009-12-03 14:24:51.576 Realtime priority would require SUID as root.

I use the -rt kernel from ubuntu karmic and other processes are markted as
RT.

Help would be greatly apreciated as my video playback is a bit choppy
without RT.
