[mythtv-users] how do I stop prebuffing problems with audio

I have been seeing this problem as well, been struggling with it for
past few weeks. At first, I thought it was my motherboard chipset,
then I thought it was the sound card. Then I started looking at the
MythTV source code.

Let me ask a question - do you see this error if you play an HD
recording from the beginning (not a bookmark) but without skipping
forward or backward?

For my personal situation, I currently suspect the problem is due to
faulty firewire capture...

I capture from DVB-T and yes it tends to happen more often with HD programming but also
some SD recorded shows as well..
I was thinking of dropping down from HD1080 to HD720 output to see if that makes the 
problem go away.

PS  sorry about the format as I dont have the mailing output turned on so I have to reply
