Thanks for the reply Mike.
i didn't have any luck running MythTranscode while editing the
commercials out.  i tried 'x' and saw a message that Myth had started
transcoding, but looking at top, i never saw a MythTranscode process.
i'll have to look into having it run automatically for shows that do a
decent job of commflagging.
for the time being i'll continue to use MythTranscode from the command
line and then just update the filesizes by hand/query in the DB.  do
you (or anyone else) see any problem with that method aside from extra
work? :)
