What repeat means is how long lirc will wait for a repeated signal
before it processes that entry.
As such , if you have repeat 2, it will be twice as slow as if you had
repeat 1 as lirc will wait to receive two of the same IR signal before
it processes the entry

Same with delay: delay indicates how many signal it will wait before
starting to process.
Having a delay to low, means that you are likely going to get false repease.

I suggest you try with delay = 2 (or more) so you need to press the
ley a little bit longer to avoid key bounces and the like
and remove the repeat entry, or have repeat = 0, so each IR signal is
processed as an event.
