The idea is that you replace your old not-as-efficient smaller drives  
with a single larger one. If you've currently got 1TB spread over 2-3  
drives, replace them all with a 1.5TB drive for under $200US. I've got  
2.5TB of storage (across 3 drives) and I have about 4 months of  
recordings - and even more now that I'm using h.264 capture.
