[mythtv-users] Mythtv can't tune to any channels

[bards 1888]

This one has me stumped (which might not be saying much !)....

I've installed fresh both ;

mythdora 5.0 (0.21-185)

and

ubuntu 8.04 (0.21)

my dual usb tuner is picked up...

DVB: registering frontend 0 (Philips TDA10046H DVB-T)...
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software
demuxer.
DVB: registering new adapter (LifeView TV Walker Twin DVB-T USB2.0)
DVB: registering frontend 1 (Philips TDA10046H DVB-T)...
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /class/input/input6
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 100 msecs.
dvb-usb: LifeView TV Walker Twin DVB-T USB2.0 successfully initialized and
connected.
usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_m920x




for some reason mythtv under both cannot find any channels when I do a scan.

I installed kaffiene under both and it scans and picks up almost all
available channels and I can watch/record TV etc

i've tried to increase the channel scan timeout inside mythtv but no matter
what I do it will not find any channels.

I was able to get the list of channels that kaffiene created, in the
channels.dvb file. It has the following;

Has anyone seen it where the tuner is working perfectly yet myth canot find
any channels ?

Any ideas ?
