[mythtv-users] Accessing data DVDs within myth

I have a number of divx and xvid video files stored on data DVDs.

I can't figure out how to see/ select the files from within Myth, which 
I assume ought to be possible. "Monitor CD/ DVD" in the general settings 
is on, but it only seems to respond to standard video (mpeg2) video DVDs

Can someone enlighten me.
