I wouldn't say I've always noticed it, but recently I've noticed the
same thing happening skipping forwards and backwards. I mainly record
NBC on 10.1 out of Philly, but I've also seen it on 8.1 out of
Lancaster PA as well.
Don't ask me why, but I'm about 15 miles from the Lancaster
transmitter and 50 miles from Philly and I get much better recordings
out of Philly.
I don't see the same things on CBS or Fox.
I've also played around with my deinterlacers to no avail.
