Hi Nick - I'm sure that I wouldn't be the only one who'd be eternally
grateful if/when you do re-test this, you could post back with the
sequence of things to do?

I've just installed Mythbuntu 8.10 from scratch (due to numerous
problems with the previous 8.04 installation) and the process of
adding channels and setting up the epg data grab has changed enough to
have me completely stumped! The new configuration options for
tv_grab_uk_rt look extremely promising (particularly just being able
to select Freesat) but I either end up with no usable channels, some
channels with Radio Times data that are unusable some with EIT data
that are usable, and some with nothing... and none of the old guides
help any more!

Fortunately (?) the hight winds have misaligned my dish, so the fact
that my Mythbox isn't working is not currently causing marital strife.
Phew :) It's certainly going to be the last time that I try any kind
of fiddling/upgrade without some kind of test-bed clone partition,
assuming such a thing is possible.

Cheers,

Mark P.
