You can often just unscrew the bracket in such cases. If this is possible, and
you don't like the idea of a bracketless card (ok if you're not going to be
moving the cables round following installation) it may be possible to find a
low-profile replacement bracket - or just make a new one or butcher the original
if you have the skills.
