Not necessarily, this power usage shift is difficult to compare. The
GPU operates at a much lower frequency (400 to 800MHz) and does
operations in a highly parallel way while the CPU operates more
serially and operates at 2GHz or better (at full speed). The CPU
generally would die if the temps were over 60C while a GPU will run
happily at 90C.
