I'm quite happy with the Core 2 Duo 7200 (2.53ghz) cpu I just got.  It seems
to handle everything I've thrown at it.  I wouldn't use it if a silent
frontend is what you're after, but I have it in my living room in an Antec
Fusion case, and I'm happy with the noise level.
