[mythtv-users] MythGame:GAMEHANDLER Error: Rom Path does not exist

I think I have followed the instructions at 
<https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MythGame> to install MythGame using 
mythbuntu 8.01. When I select the Scan For Games item in the Setup menu 
I get the error message "MythGame:GAMEHANDLER Error: Rom Path does not 
exist: /home/david/xmame_roms/". The directory does exist and has 
read/write permissions for everybody. Any help would be appreciated.
