That would be correct.   And since you spelled analog different I would guess 
you are not in the US, the US has a coupon program that gives people 2 - $40 
coupons toward a cheap basic digital to analog box so most of these boxes are 
costing $10-$20.

It also means that one would not have to transcode the given digital content 
down to lower resolutions/bitrates for display on devices not capable of 
handling 1080i resolutions and bit rates.   Currently I automatically run a 
transcode job to convert 1080i/720p down to 720x480 mpeg2/mp3 so that the set 
top frontend box I have can properly display things.   With the digital box 
everything will come in with 720x480 mpeg2/mp3 from the pvr-150.

I am going to be trying this with a different digital box and see how much luck 
that I have doing that.
