If one of your remote boxes is set to transcode and NFS permissions are
set wrong you can end up with your recordings kind of going off into
la-la land. This is might be one possibility.

I don't think this is a strictly 0.21 thing though.

Although I managed to get bit by this during my 0.21 upgrade.
