There's a common screwup in digital audio design...

Most digital audio systems treat -20dBFS as 0vu, and aim for that as
the highest average level.  Unfortunately, they then put it out as
*-20dBM*, not as 0dBM, which is what they *should* do if it's really
0vu.

It's so common that I have to assume someone thinks it's the right
thing to do, but it's *really* not.  I promise.
