[mythtv-users] Number of MultiRec tuners question (DVB-T UK)

Hi,

I have two DVB cards, and I installed 0.21 last night (really good by the
way - thank you so much to all the developers).

I have 3 tuners listed in the system status screen. Tuner 1 is for DVB card
0, Tuner 2 is also DVB card 0. Tuner 3 is DVB card 1.
If I put Tuner 1 on BBC One, I can record BBC Two (multiplex 1) using Tuner
2 and ITV1 (multiplex 2) on Tuner 3.

My question is, should I be able to record more channels than 3. For
instance, why isn't there a second tuner on DVB card 1 which could record
Channel 4 (multiplex 2) at the same time. Or even, why isn't there a third
tuner for card 0, which would allow me to record BBC Three (multiplex 1) at
the same time.

Does each virtual tuner need to be configured in mythtv-setup, or just the
actual cards?
