[mythtv-users] Do I gain anything in Myth by upgrading myGraphics card?

73mb/sec seems pretty normal for a modern pata drive. I get the same
readings out of my 500gb ide drives.

My PATA MAxtor 320GB
/dev/hda:
Timing cached reads: 1160 MB in 2.00 seconds = 579.39 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 220 MB in 3.01 seconds = 73.17 MB/sec

I don't know a lot about this stuff, but those numbers seem pretty high.
Are you sure about that?
