I spend all day sitting around PCs, so it's a little hard for me to
judge, but it's more-than-averagely quiet.  I had the OEM fan on my
CPU at first and it was noticable in the living room when under load,
but once I put on the low-noise fan they ship with it, I'd say it's no
louder than my old TiVo was.

With two fish tanks running in the front part of the house, I only
hear it if I walk immediately in front of it.
