Yes, there migth be differences but the code was all made by humans.
They're prone to error.
No, that is not a problem but you must agree that comparing code sizes
(source code...) is one of the few ways we can use to get some insight
in the chances of finding leaks.
There are even professional standards for numbers of bugs for every xx
thousand lines of code.

They will not behave similarly, maybe only in one aspect.
Please do not draw this too far.
You know what I mean with the idea of the comparison.
No software is perfect so there is a similar possibilty of finding leaks
as with the backend.
