[mythtv-users] Horizontal seam in picture - contradicting EDID

Well, I tried two different options:
 - 1080i over HDMI  
 - 1080p while replacing the HDMI cable with a D-Sub cable

And unfortunately neither seems to make much of a difference.
 
Are there any other suggestions out there cuz this really stinks!
