[mythtv-users] Satellite Setup

Hi

Just to clarify, I am currently using and external Satellite STB for TV
reception, this is then cabled to Composite in on my PVR 150. I use the
MCE USB rc to control mythtv and yes I have connected the IR Blaster
with the intention of controlling the STB, but thats another story.
I am using mythbuntu 8.04 (I recently switched from Fedora to see what
the fuss was about, but I think I will be switching back) which doesn't
seem to have a package for Video4Linux, so I am unable to test your
command 'v4l2-ctl -i 2' . Can you explain why you believe that
Composite-in will equal channel 2? If this is the case can I just
create a channel 2 in Mythtv and test it that way?

PS. wasn't to sure re FTA cards being able to see the FTA MPEG-4 signal
so just ordered one of these to replace my current STB.

Thanks for any help
