i've decided to go with the Sony 52XBR4. i'm planning on having it
delivered on Fri. the shop i'm buying it from (SoundsDeluxe,
Naperville, IL) is delivering it for free. i'm hoping the guy
delivering it will give me a hand calibrating it once i get it
installed since i bought most of my A/V setup from him. :)

does anybody have a working modeline (Myth tested) for the Sony XBR4
KDL-52XBR4 series? preferably a 1080p modeline. i looked at the wiki
and saw a couple Sony's but i'm not sure how closely related the
models listed are to the KDL-52XBR4. these are the 1080 modelines
listed on the wiki:

ModeLine "1920x1080"	74.25	1920	2008	2052	2200	1080	1088	1091	1121	+hsync +vsync

ModeLine "1920x1080"	74.2	1920	2008	2052	2200	1080	1088	1091	1121	+hsync
+vsync interlace

ModeLine "1920x1080p60"	148.35	1920	2008	2052	2200	1080	1084	1089	1125	+Hsync
+Vsync

the Sony website lists in the specs that it will display the full
1920x1080 resolution (with minor overscan). for some reason the
manual won't download for me here at work, so i couldn't check to see
if any modelines were listed in the manual.

initially i'll be outputing from my MythBox through the onboard
graphics (Integrated NVIDIA NV17-class (GeForce4 MX) GPU) via s-video
through my AVR (Denon 3808CI) to the Sony via HDMI. i'm planning on
replacing this motherboard with one that has an HDMI out powered by
either the Intel G35 or G45 chipset since i don't currently have
enough power to handle HD.
anybody successfully using an Intel G35 chipset with Myth?
