[mythtv-users] Drop the Box - For all Canadian Users

    I can appreciate this effort however, you should not be
emulating the USA. We only have it "slightly" better than
Canada.

    Demand unencrypted QAM. The box is not a problem. The DRM is.
Cablecards don't get rid of that problem. They just give the false
appearance of openess. Get them to output unencrypted QAM from the
set top box and EVERYONE can get in on the action.

    MythTV becomes viable.

    You will end up with some serious tech envy south of the border...

    Nevermind Cablecards... gid rid of DRM in general.
